Important Update As Of 6/1/2020:

 

To prospective and existing customers,

We are excited to announce that both of our showrooms are now open! To ensure that the experience is safe as possible, we are requiring that all staff and visitors comply with the following safety protocols:

 

  • Customers and employees must wear face masks at all times
  • Parties are limited to 2 people or less
  • No children allowed at this time
  • Display area will be limited to 15 people or less
  • Everyone must remain 6 feet apart

Our hours are:

Mon. thru Fri. 10 AM - 6 PM

Sat. 9 AM - 4 PM

Sun. 10 AM - 4 PM

Important Update As Of 5/23/2020:

 

To prospective and existing customers,

Although our Scarborough showroom remains closed until at least June 1st, we will have hot tubs on display in a specially-designated, roped off area that will allow us to control the flow and number of people at any given time.

 

In order to ensure the safest shopping experience possible, we will require that our staff and visitors comply with the following safety protocols:

  • Customers and employees must wear face masks at all times
  • Parties are limited to 2 people or less
  • No children allowed at this time
  • Display area will be limited to 15 people or less
  • Everyone must remain 6 feet apart

 

In addition to these precautions, we will be sanitizing hot tubs regularly as people pass through, and will be providing hand sanitizer and gloves to anyone entering the display area. Hand sanitizer will also be placed throughout the display area in case additional usage is needed.

 

The staffed outdoor display hours are:

Important Update As Of 5/8/2020:

 

To prospective and existing customers,

 

Our New Hampshire Showroom will be re-opening to the public on Monday, May 11th. We will be implementing protocols for safeguarding the public and our employees to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 and maintain a healthy work environment.

Consumer Protection:

  1. No more than  people will be allowed inside our showroom at any given time.
  2. Customers are asked to maintain social distancing from our staff and other customers of at least 6 feet.
  3. Cloth face coverings must be worn at all times when inside the store.
  4. Curbside pickup is available for water care supply orders. Please call ahead to place and pay for your order.  Upon arrival, please call us and we will bring your order out to you. The number for our Rye Showroom is - (603) 686-8182.
  5. Electronic payment is preferred, but cash and check may be accepted.
  6. Reusable bags are prohibited.

Business Safety Protocols:

  1. All staff will wear cloth face coverings at all times when in the retail facility.
  2. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer will be readily available for both staff and consumers at entrances and exits to the retail facility, at the checkout counter, and in staff breakrooms and other commonly used staff areas.
  3. Mainely Tubs will be implementing enhanced cleaning protocols that follow CDC guidance relating to cleaning and disinfection for COVID-19. This includes cleaning and disinfecting shared resources and frequently touched surfaces every two hours. 
  4. Check-out lanes will be wiped down and cleaned between each transaction.
  5. Plastic barriers will be used between customers and staff at the checkout counter.

Important Update As Of 3/27/2020:

In light of unprecedented events related to COVID-19 and the nationwide preventative actions being taken to stop its spread, we have decided to align our organization's proceedings in a consistent manner.

With the focused and unifying objective of keeping our staff, customers, and the general public safe, we will be closing both our Maine and New Hampshire showrooms, effective March 27th, end of day. We will reopen our showrooms for regular operations when we feel the course of external affairs has returned to a state of normalcy that will allow us to safely and efficiently provide the exemplary level of Mainely Tubs customer service upon which we pride ourselves.  

The temporary closure of our showrooms will not alter our commitment to serving valued customers and employees. Through utilization of remote technologies and processes, our team will continue to serve the needs of current and prospective customers. We will have a customer service representative working daily to take service calls and schedule urgent service. A team member will be available by reservation at our Scarborough showroom to help load hot tub and sauna purchases for customers who are able to take possession of their product. At least one service technician will be out performing service on urgent service calls daily for existing customers. Our sales team will continue to work remotely through numerous means of communication like web chats, FaceTime, phone, text, and email to answer questions related to our products. Although we can no longer service our water care customers from the showrooms, we will continue to process and ship orders that are received through our e-store platform, which can be accessed at MainelyTubs.com. To make this an affordable option to our customers, we have reduced the Free Shipping order threshold from $150 to $75. We understand the necessity of water care products and will work to the greatest extent of our abilities to get these items out as quickly as possible. Our management team will remain active and vigilant, ensuring adjusted operations are running optimally, given the current changes and constraints that have arisen.

All employees will continue to receive normal pay while our showrooms are closed. We care deeply about each and every one of our team members and believe that they and their families should not suffer financially during this time. We are encouraging those not assigned company tasks to try and find safe volunteering opportunities in their communities, whether through non-profits or other community-minded efforts. We will allow them the discretion to choose the opportunities they would like to contribute to and are allowing them the use of company vehicles and company fuel for their volunteer work. 

We thank you for your support and patronage during this very challenging and uncertain time. With this unprecedented crisis, there comes the opportunity for contemplation, insight, and change. We recognize this period as a time to deeply reflect the whole of our organization's services and support to prospective and existing customers so that we can be better coming out of this disruption than we were going into it. Our motto guides us unequivocally even during these hard times: "We will be better tomorrow than we were today".

Effective Monday, March 30th, Mr. Jared Levin will take over as the organization’s new CEO. Jared has served on the Board of Directors of Mainely Tubs for the past two years, and brings many years of diverse experience to the company. We welcome him enthusiastically into this new role. Jim Van Fleet, former owner then CEO of Mainely Tubs, will be stepping into the role of Executive Chairman of our Board of Directors, where the company will continue to benefit from his more than two decades of experience serving our valued customers.

We look forward with great anticipation of a return to normal business proceedings so that we can continue to serve, to our fullest extent, the wonderful people who have helped build our company up to what it is today.
